Reports from ICEWH Technical Officer advised that it was a fruitful meeting on 8 November in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy with 5 nations present at the table (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands)
Reports from ICEWH Technical Officer, Anja Wouters advised that it was a fruitful meeting on 8 November in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy with 5 nations present at the table (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands) and as Observers our new Canadian guests of the Canadian EWH Association and the Toronto Power Hockey League.
Agreements were reached on the new long term Business Plan 2010-2020, revision of the Players Eligibility (minimal disabilities), Organizers Regulations, Referee Signals, Referee & Jury Certification and the planning of the events for the coming years. As soon as possible all documents will be available on the IWAS Committee Electric Wheelchair Hockey website. In the statistics it is shown that the EWH sport has grown to 1500 players and that EWH is now played in 11 nations of Europe and Australia. With Canada the contacts have been increased. ICEWH supports this nation in their national development towards international EWH.
By the quadrennial elections all four current members of the Executive Committee are re-elected by the nations: John Teunissen from the Netherlands as Chairman, Kenny Verbraekel from Belgium as Secretary, Anja Wouters from the Netherlands as Technical Officer and Saila Luumi from Finland as Event Officer.
