From 6^th to 9^th May, Head of Sport, Harry Cootes and Head of Operations, Elin Luce headed to the host city of the 2025 World Abilitysport Beach Games in Mersin, Türkiye for the final site visit ahead of entries opening.

Accompanied by NPC Türkiye General Coordinator, Serkan Baltacı and Sport Director, Elif Güzel, the team visited the venues and accommodation options proposed for the Games as well as finalising transport and logistical details.

Serkan Baltacı, General Coordinator at NPC Türkiye said, “We were delighted to welcome the team from World Abilitysport to Mersin to explore the city that will host the first ever Para sport beach games. Preparations towards this milestone event for World Abilitysport and the Paralympic Movement as a whole are now in full swing, and we very much look forward to welcoming teams to the pearl of the Mediterranean.”

AirBadminton joins Beach ParaVolley, Inclusive Padel and Para Powerlifting already announced for the Games. The full sport programme will be announced in the coming weeks with entries opening in late May.
