The 3rd IWAS EWH World Championship is getting closer. The national teams are training and fine tuning their tactics and strategies and supporters from all over the world are every day more curious about the program and the match schedule of the event.

Their inquisitiveness is going to be fed. The official drawing for the upcoming world championship will take place on wednesday 16th april during an official press conference with VIPs and media in Munich, Germany.

Birgit Kober a German Paralympic athlete who broke the world record in both shot put and javelin throw during 2012 Paralympic Games in London is going to attend the ceremony. IWAS/ICEWH Technical Delegates Anja Wouters and Niels ten Hagen will also be present to supervise this official drawing and to meet with Organizing Committee members and present VIPs.

After the drawing participants will have the chance to experience EWH. Electric Wheelchair Hockey means: perfect ball control in combination with mature technology, good teamwork and responsive maneuvers – that’s not so easy. This is what the Munich Animals and the German National Team players are going to show to the present press representatives during a demonstration match in which they will be directly involved to better understand what it does feel like playing EWH.

If you are already wondering which will be the division into playing groups A and B hold your breath, the wait is almost over! The results of the drawing will be published on the WC2014 website and the ICEWH website as soon as possible after the ceremony.
