IWAS HQ office move set to open up new opportunities for the Federation
04/11/2015
IWAS HQ will make the move to new 'energetic and vibrant' premises this week to open up more opportunities for the organisation.
The IWAS Headquarters office is set to make the 2 mile move to its new location based at the further education facility of Aylesbury College this week.
The move to the new premises offers a large, modern office space with state of the art facilities whilst proving cost effective for the organisation. Motivation for the move is also the desire to build an independent brand identity, opening up opportunities currently unavailable to the organisation.
The direct link to almost 4000 students is also set to broaden the scope for volunteers and mutually beneficial internships, particularly with students on sport or event management courses.
Tim Keighley, Executive Director Engagement and Business Development at Aylesbury College commented: “We are delighted to welcome the International Wheelchair & Amputee Sports Federation to their new home in Aylesbury College. Our partnership will bring benefits to both organisations and I am sure that the inspirational work that IWAS do will help to broaden our students’ horizons”
IWAS CEO, Charmaine Hooper said, ‘IWAS would like to thank WheelPower for their support and we look forward to working with Stoke Mandeville Stadium in the future. We are excited to open the new office at this vibrant and energetic premises and we are confident the move will allow IWAS to continue its work and to develop and strengthen the organisation.’
