Current Vice-President accepts role until elections at the next General Assembly

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

IWAS Secretary General

The IWAS Executive Management Committee announced today that IWAS Vice President, Karl Vilhelm Nielsen from Denmark will take on the role of Secretary General for IWAS until the elections at the next IWAS General Assembly to be held in September 2013 in the Netherlands.

 

Maura Strange has retired following her poor state of health after holding this role for many years.

 

IWAS President Paul DePace expressed his gratitude to Maura Strange for her many years of dedicated service to the federation and said that we hope to see her back in some voluntary position in future.  He continued by thanking Karl Vilhelm Nielsen for taking on the role of IWAS Secretary General for the remainder of the term of the current IWAS Executive Board.
