IWAS World Junior Games 2014 set to be the biggest so far

To celebrates its 10th anniversary there are more sports, more nations with more athletes then ever taking part

In its 10th year the IWAS World Games will welcome more than 250 athletes from 25 different countries to Stoke Mandeville Stadium (SMS)  in its first return to the birthplace of the Paralympic Games.

A large rise in participation since the first Junior Games in 2005 the first entries received so far have shown a phenomenal early response in what will be the largest programme to date with a total of eight different competitive sports along with a demonstration from Para-Taekwondo.

The IWAS Games Organising committee will be meeting at SMS during the weekend of the 9th May to review final arrangements, ensure all is in place for the competitions and meet with the various volunteers and individuals helping with the preparations.
