IWAS is pleased to hear that the current IWAS Wheelchair European Championships 2009 are progressing smoothly. The 12 teams that are taking part in the event arrived in the host city of Hillerod, Denmark for the opening ceremony that was held on the 12th October. Formal welcome was provided by IWAS Wheelchair Rugby’s representative Richard Allcroft.

Karl Vilhelm Nielsen, President of the DHIF and Member at Large on the IWAS Executive Board was able to pass on the message of Good Luck to the teams

The competition will come to an end on 17th October.
