In the run up to the Paralympic Games in London this summer IWAS is receiving a multitude of requests for historic photographs.  One of the most interesting projects that we have linked up with is run by the British Council in partnership LOCOG.

In the run up to the Paralympic Games in London this summer IWAS is receiving a multitude of requests for historic photographs.  One of the most interesting projects that we have linked up with is run by the British Council in partnership LOCOG.

The aim is to provide free content related to Olympic and Paralympic themes to teachers and teenagers around the world learning English as a foreign language. The main site’ LearnEnglish has more than 1million unique users.

Articles around the history of the Paralympic movement are being commissioned on an on-going basis and we will be aiming to make further contribution as we move closer to our 60th anniversary on 26 July 2012.
