Successful bid awarded for IWAS Under 23 World Games 2016

Emil Foundation 'extremely excited' to begin preperations for the Games which will run from 29 June to 3 July 2016.
IWAS is pleased to announce that the successful bid for the IWAS Under 23 World Games 2016 has been awarded to the Emil Foundation of Prague, Czech Republic following a successful site visit from IWAS Games Technical Manager, Jan Bockweg. The Games, to be hosted from 29 June to 3 July 2016, are expected to include Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Wheelchair Fencing and Wheelchair Tennis, although the final sports programme is yet to be finalised.
The Emil Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2009 following six successful years in existence as the Emil Project. The Foundation assists physically disabled children and young adults in their sporting involvement primarily through direct financial aid. Over 8000 athletes and teams have benefited from the work of the Emil Foundation already and with the hosting of the IWAS Under 23 World Games this number is set increase.
