Germany wins in the final against reigning champions the Netherlands in what was an exciting and tough game during the 2nd World Championships.
Germany wins in the final against reigning champions the Netherlands in what was an exciting and tough game. The 2nd World Championships that took place in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy concluded with five minutes extra time seeing the German team take Gold.
The German athlete Emmering who scored the victory point said he was excited and in disbelief. "Unbelievable, I really did not expect this. We approached this game with determination and courage, but inside we knew we had never managed to beat Holland. I do not know what happened, it was incredible the way we view the game, and it was incredibly exciting for me to have marked the seventh point. "
