Japan hosts the first ever IWAS wheelchair Fencing Satellite competition from 13th -15th October 2017 in Kyoto, Japan.
The first ever IWAS Wheelchair Fencing Satellite Competition is being held in Kyoto, Japan, from the 13th to the 15th October. This is a new step on the IWAS competition pathway, for new fencers of all ages onto the competition circuit, and is an ideal starting competition for athletes not yet ready to enter the World Cup events
The event will include an IWAS Referee seminar seminar being led by Mr Kam Kau Wong, which will take place prior to the competition, giving an opportunity for Referees to develop their skills and education in the sport of Wheelchair Fencing, ultimately keading to an international qualification.
Atheltes will benefit from a two day coaching/training session to kick off the vent, culminating ina competition for:
Women Foil -Cat A and B
Mens Foil- Cat A and B
Mens Sabre Cat A and B
