Site inspections complete for IWAS World Games in Sochi, Russia.

As the six week countdown draws near, final inspections of the sports venues are complete in preperation for delegations from 34 countries.
As the opening of the IWAS World Games 2015 draws near final preparations and successful inspections have taken place in preparation for delegations from 34 countries to arrive in Sochi, Russia. On 26th September, over 700 participants will arrive for five days of competition in Athletics, Swimming, Table Tennis, Archery, Arm Wrestling and Para Taekwondo across three venues in the city.
Between 10 and 14 August, inspections were made of the sports venues and hotels including the new sport complex where table tennis, taekwondo and arm-wrestling competitions will take place. Successful inspections on accessibility as well as plans for the opening ceremony, closing and medal ceremonies and transportation services were finalised.
First Vice-President of Russian NPC, Second IWAS Vice-President and Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Pavel Rozhkov, Deputy Director of the Department for Development of Physical Culture of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Malits and Director of the sports complex of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, "South-Sport" Mikhael Dremov, attended the inspection.
The subsequent meeting was also attended by representatives of the Administration of Sochi, the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Krasnodar Territory, the Federal Service of Safety of the Krasnodar Territory, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Territory, the Ministry of Social Protection of the Krasnodar Territory, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Emergency Situations, RUSADA and others.
The Games will be held from 26 September to 2 October. The Opening of the games will be held on 27 September at 17:00 at the Ministry of Sports Russia "South Sports".
